Job Title: MDS Radar Integrator / Analyst

Job Location: Huntsville, AL

Schedule: Full-time

MSRC is seeking candidates to support customer requirements for Missile Defense System (MDS) Radar integration, operations, and analysis.

Job Description:

  • The candidate will work within a government owned classified processing space. The Government lab contains BMDS Radar Signal and Data Processing (S&DP) equipment and software along with supporting M&S that interfaces with the Radar S&DPs.
  • The candidate will be capable of integrating configurations supporting unique testing requirements (including working with applicable RCS and trajectory files)
  • The candidate will execute tactical and M&S software during integrated runs and post process resulting binary data files
  • The candidate will execute tools to conduct analysis on the resulting radar data
  • The candidate will report to the lab Radar Task Lead and may be requested to interface with government customers.

Education:

  • BS degree in engineering or other relevant technical field
  • Desired – Masters degree in engineering or other relevant technical field

Job Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years experience in MDS related engineering disciplines
  • Experience working with and integrating software & M&S to support testing (HWIL, SWIL)
  • Tool development and analysis experience with at least one of Matlab, Python, C++, etc.
  • Basic understanding of Radar components (Antenna – T/R, REX, S&DP, Communications)
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented with strong organizational skills required
  • Ability to work well within a team environment to meet testing and analysis schedules
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
  • Candidate must currently possess and be able to maintain an active security clearance
  • Desired – Direct MDS Radar integration, execution and/or analysis experience

Job Title: Principal Engineer Team Lead

Job Description:

Monte Sano Research Corporation (MSRC) is a Huntsville-based Small Business specializing in providing full-spectrum defense system engineering, research, design, development, integration, test, evaluation, and planning services to the U.S. Government.

 

MSRC is seeking candidates to serve as the company’s Principal Engineer Team Lead for Missile Defense Agency (MDA) programs.  

 

The candidate will lead MSRC’s technical team supporting MDA, and serve as the primary customer interface to MDA government customers and contractor partners. In addition, the candidate will work to grow MSRC’s support to MDA in all applicable technical areas while coordinating with MSRC as the MDA program portfolio grows.

 

Education:

  • Masters degree in engineering (Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, Materials preferred), or other relevant technical field

 

Required Skills:

  • 20+ years relevant experience
  • Extensive background in Missile Defense
  • Knowledge of MDA organization, processes and engineering lifecycles
  • Experience working with MDA government leaders and prime contracting partners
  • Demonstrated technical leadership

Job Title: Integrated Master Scheduler

Job Description:

Monte Sano Research Corporation (MSRC) is a Huntsville-based Small Business specializing in providing full-spectrum defense system engineering, research, design, development, integration, test, evaluation, and planning services to the U.S. Government.

 

MSRC is seeking a full-time Integrated Master Scheduler. This position requires ability to develop integrated master schedules (IMS) for Department of Defense (DoD) programs or Integrated Product Teams (IPT’s), status/update integrated master schedules, project coordination with stakeholders, critical path analysis, analyzing schedule risk and contributing to the development and maintenance of a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS). Job candidate must be able to integrate tiered master plans and schedules for DoD programs and lead/manage multi-schedule implementations and develop cross-project linking solutions. Job candidate must be able to lead Program/IPT’s and interact heavily with external customers and stakeholders. Other responsibilities include participating and/or supporting technical and business meetings, providing program analysis support and applying knowledge of DoD systems and development/tracking and execution of contract information as directed as well as applying policies and procedures relative to program and project management.

 

Education:

  • BS in Business Field or Similar

 

Requirements:

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance, active clearance preferred
  • Minimum 5 years experience as a Program Scheduler on complex DoD programs, 10 years + experience preferred
  • Experience with Milestones Professional preferred
  • Extensive experience working on government DoD programs developing Integrated Master Plans & Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) is required
  • Advanced experience with multiple scheduling tools and add-ons
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Project and other Microsoft Office Tools
  • Proven ability to work with a server-based Enterprise Project Control tool (e.g. Microsoft Project Server or equivalent)
  • Experience resource loading, identifying and resolving over-allocations, and resource reporting in Microsoft Project
  • Experience with cost & schedule integration
  • Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS); successful development of EV solutions in IMP/IMS
  • Experience with DCMA 14 Point assessments

  • The candidate will provide programmatic support to the America Makes Additive Manufacturing for Hypersonics project including meeting support, technology assessments, project documentation and planning.
  • The candidate will provide comprehensive Science and Technology (S&T) portfolio/project systems engineering and project management support including, but not limited to:
  • Capability gap, technology needs, and requirements assessments
  • Comparative analysis of candidate systems, components, and approaches for technical feasibility, compatibility, and cost effectiveness
  • Technology road-map development and synchronization
  • Project execution, planning, tracking, and reporting, including IMS and Risk management
  • Informational and decision briefs for senior leaders
  • Project documentation, including strategies, plans, and reports
