In July of 2009, a small group of Huntsville, AL engineers had a desire to create a company focused intentionally on its employees and customers. Having survived 4 complicated acquisitions in an eight-year span, these soon-to-be company owners knew up front that their company would have a unique purpose, setting it apart from most other defense service providers, and would be, most decidedly, not for sale. With this, Monte Sano Research Corporation was born, providing the infrastructure and stability required to facilitate and catalyze the relationship between our customers and our extremely talented workforce.

Monte Sano Research Culture
Monte Sano Research hosts regular events for employees to promote comradery and build relationships. This allows teams to socialize across departments and truly facilitates a “family” style culture. Outings include baseball games, bowling, golfing, axe throwing, holiday parties, luncheons and more! Monte Sano Research also hosts “lunch and learn” opportunities and corporate update meetings annually to keep employees informed on things like retirement benefits, investment elections, changes in healthcare legislation, company policy development, internal growth opportunities and corporate strategic planning.
Monte Sano Research Gives Back
The Monte Sano Research Philanthropy Committee makes local contributions and offers volunteer opportunities in support of organizations helping the communities where we live and work. Eligible organizations must be IRS 501(c)3 certified. Monte Sano Research does good to help others!
Monte Sano Research Veterans
The Monte Sano Research Veterans Group is led by employees who are Veterans and focuses on welcoming new Veterans into our company. This program works hand in hand with our Mentorship Program to acclimate Veterans to our industry. The Veterans Group annual budget is directed to Veteran related giving and volunteer opportunities.
Monte Sano Research Leadership Training
Monte Sano Research places tremendous importance on leadership training. A training program is designed annually, usually consisting of 8-10 learning sessions. Topics include such things as company mission, roles & responsibilities, performance excellence, interviewing & hiring, and relationships & feedback.
Monte Sano Research Mentorship program
The Monte Sano Research Mentorship Program is focused on providing less experienced employees an understanding of company culture and ongoing career advice. Mentors and Mentees are paired for 1 year and meet periodically to discuss company values, customer space issues, mentee goals and mentee progress.
Monte Sano Research technical fellows
The Technical Fellowship Program is designed to develop the future senior scientists of Monte Sano Research and integrate them with corporate leaders. Within the program, current Monte Sano Research technical experts intentionally teach younger scientists, providing growth opportunities via a technical track vs. a management track, and allowing for expanded employee recognition.
