Solutions

The Variable Attenuator developed by MSRC is an inline, motorized optical attenuation system designed to provide continuous, high-dynamic-range laser power control for 1064 nm laser applications. The assembly integrates beam expansion optics, logarithmically coated neutral density filters, and a brushless motor drive to achieve precise and repeatable attenuation while maintaining beam quality.

The attenuator contains four motorized Inconel neutral density filters, allowing continuous and precise adjustment of optical density from 2 to 10.4 OD at 1064 nm.

LOGARITHMIC COATED FILTERS
